Term 4
This term, Year 2 are facing an engaging curriculum.
- English lessons will explore The Bear and The Piano by David Litchfield. Pupils will develop persuasive skills in the form of an advert along with rewiring the story and changing the setting and talent.
- Mathematics will focus on addition and subtraction, fractions, length, money, multiplication and division, shape and time.
- Religious Education (RE) will deepen students’ understanding of Lent and Holy Week and how they inspire reflection, growth, and a closer connection with God.
- Science will cover what plants need to survive in order to keep reproducing and growing.
- Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) will explore the theme "Created to Love Others," emphasising religious understanding, personal relationships, and staying safe.
- Geography will investigate the importance of coastlines and how we can stay safe by the coast.
This term promises an exciting mix of learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking across all subjects.
