RE and Catholic Life
At Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School, our mission is simple yet profound:
Love, Live, and Learn as Jesus taught us.
Rooted in the teachings of Christ, we aim to inspire our students to live out their faith through love, compassion, and service to others, both within our school community and beyond.
Religious Education (RE) is at the heart of everything we do. It is not only a subject but a way of life that shapes the values, character, and spirituality of our children. Through our RE curriculum, we encourage pupils to deepen their understanding of God’s Word and to embody the love and teachings of Jesus in all that they do.
In addition to academic learning, the Catholic life of our school is nurtured through prayer, liturgy, and the active participation of students, staff, and families in the life of the Church. We celebrate the values of kindness, respect, and faith, creating an environment where each child can grow spiritually, morally, and academically.
As a community, we are inspired by the example of Our Lady of Lourdes, whose life of faith, humility, and devotion calls us to live in service to others. Our aim is to help each child flourish by instilling in them a sense of belonging to both our Catholic family and the larger world, always guided by the teachings of Jesus.
