Term 1 learning

This term, our Year 2 children are diving into an exciting range of learning experiences across the curriculum:

• Writing: Exploring narrative, information, and instructional writing based on The True Story of the Three Little Pigs and Rapunzel, alongside the engaging animation Sprout Boy.

• Maths: Building key skills in place value, addition, and subtraction, while recapping money and shapes.

• Science: Exploring habitats—investigating where different animals live and how they adapt to survive.

• History: Discovering how school life has changed over time, drawing links between the past and present.

• RE: Reflecting on Noah’s Story, exploring its deeper meaning and the key values it teaches.
