Term 2 learning
This term, the children are diving into a range of exciting learning experiences across the curriculum.
In writing, we are exploring Aaron Slater, Illustrator, where the children will write a detailed character description of Aaron. They will also read How to Find Gold and create a biography about Anna, developing their understanding of different forms of writing.
In maths, it’s a busy and exciting term! The children will be learning about shape, statistics, time, fractions, money, and multiplication, building their confidence across a range of key skills.
Our science lessons will build on our learning about habitats from last term as we explore microhabitats and discover the fascinating world of minibeasts.
In geography, the children will investigate hot and cold places around the world, comparing Kenya to the UK and learning about the similarities and differences in climate, landscape, and way of life.
In RE, the children will be learning about prophecy and promises, exploring their meaning within the Catholic faith and how they guide us in our lives today.
