Term 5 Learning

Welcome back to Term 5! 

The authors explore the first book ‘Look Up!’. The writing outcome for this is a narrative about space. The second book is ‘Meerkat Mail’. The outcome for this is a non-chronological report about Meerkats.

Our mathematicians will be deepening their understanding on addition and subtraction, multiplication and division and shape.

As Scientist this term, children are going to be exploring about a plant’s life cycle, what plants need to grow and how we can take care of plants!

In RE children will learn about Ascension, Pentecost and the Conversion of Paul. We will then explore the fruits of the Holy Spirit, understanding how Catholics are called to live out values like kindness, patience, and love in their lives.

As we come to our last History topic for year 2. Our Historians are going to be exploring ‘What is a Monarch?’. The children will understand who our King is and what they do and look at a range of castles.
