ParentPay - Online System

Our Lady of Lourdes is a completely 'cashless school' - instead we use an online system called ParentPay to book school lunches, make payments and give parental consent for a number of school events. This system will not only allow parents to book and pay for school meals and trips etc. but can also be used to give permission for children to take part in school trips and after school activities. This means no more hunting for loose change and no more searching around in the morning to sign a permission slip for a trip your child has just remembered.

ParentPay our communication system

Our Lady of Lourdes uses the ParentPay online system to send you emails to keep you informed about our school and your child. On occasion we may also send an urgent text, if appropriate to do so.

It is therefore very important for all parents/carers to activate a ParentPay account, even if you do not pay for school lunches - otherwise you will not be able to receive any information from the school.

ParentPay - for booking school lunches

You can use ParentPay to view our tasty school menu at home and to discuss meal choices with your child. You can then use the system to book them their choice of school lunch. You are even able to book lunches up to 3 weeks in advance!

If your child would like a school lunch on any given day, you will need to book their lunch on the ParentPay system before 8am that day. Don't worry if you forget to book before 8am, the school kitchen will still be able to provide your child with a hot jacket potato, with a choice of filling.

ParentPay provides a safe, secure and easy way to pay online for school items such as school meals, trips and other events or activities.

• ParentPay allows you make online payments to the school whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Makes it easy to make payments for school items by debit or credit card.
• Reduces the need for children to carry cash to school.
• Peace of mind that payments are made safely and securely to the school.
• You can also merge your accounts if you have more than one child at the school, or from other schools that also use ParentPay.

Is ParentPay safe – are my payments secure?

• Yes – ParentPay is safe and secure and tested for the highest security.
• All information on ParentPay is secure and only accessible by completing several security steps and automated checks.
• Payments are secure – you do not have to 'save' your card details to the system and the system is not accessed by the school.
• You can check at any time what and when you have paid the school through ParenyPay.

How do I get started with ParentPay?

• Our Lady of Lourdes will provide an activation letter containing a unique reference for your child – you will need this reference to access your child’s account.
• You will also need a Microsoft account – you can use an existing account (e.g. a Hotmail account) or create a new one online – they are free, easy to setup and you can use any valid email address and password. If you need a free Microsoft account please go to: https://signup.live.com

• Follow the few simple steps to activate your account.
• You will receive an email to confirm your account has been activated; once you have clicked the link in the email you will be able to make payments for school items straight away.
• If you have more than one child at the school, you can easily merge their ParentPay account into a single combined view.
