Our Mission Statement
At Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School we seek to create a unique and enabling environment whereby children and staff are encouraged to journey beyond their expectations – academically, socially and spiritually – within a culture based upon Gospel Values.
We will bring our vision to life by:
- Promoting and living our Catholic faith;
- Building relationships to support and enable learning;
- Inspiring our children and staff to do their best always and everywhere.
Our Gospel Values
The ethos of our school is built upon the foundations of the teachings of Jesus. Our Gospel Values of Respect, Community, Faith, Love, Hope, Service, Courage, Compassion, Forgiveness and Justice are taught and consolidated through all aspects of school life, from our daily acts of Worship to our Curriculum approach and how we address Behaviour. Each week, we celebrate children who have demonstrated these Gospel Values in some way with Headteacher Certificates. We want the children to leave Our Lady of Lourdes with these Values embedded in their hearts for their future education, relationships and attitudes.
