We want our children, when they leave Our Lady of Lourdes, to have a positive relationship with physical activity and their health. We aim to give them a comprehensive knowledge of the basic skills which will allow them to access any sport or physical activity they choose to do. Through inclusive, challenging and supportive planning, we ensure that every child has opportunities to develop themselves physically, mentally and socially. We aim to promote appropriate competitiveness and building resilience by including intraschool and interschool competitions.
At Our Lady of Lourdes, we develiver PE through 'REAL PE', which centres the learning around the needs of the children's social and emotional development as well as their physical progression.
